I. What Personal Information We Collect

During your visit to the preprint system and the process of submitting a manuscript, we collect the following personal data:
(1) Information involved in user registration and login: including your name, email address, username, affiliation, ORCID, and country/region.
(2) Information involved in the manuscript submission process: including the names and email addresses of co-authors, and their institutions. 

II. How We Collect and Use Your Personal Data

Personal Identifiable Information: The user registration information and author information collected are used for automatic personal identification during the manuscript submission process. Co-author information is also used to associate their affiliation when they register an account in the system. 

Non-Personal Identifiable Information: This includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser language, and the date and time of your visit. This information will not be used for personal identification or association with other information. 

Aggregate Data: This refers to data used for analyzing and displaying the collective behavior of all visitors to the preprint system. During this process, personally identifiable information is not disclosed. 

Personal Information Stored in the Manuscript Submission System: After the manuscript is submitted, author and member profiles, along with other identifiable personal information, are stored in the manuscript submission system of the preprint platform. This information is only visible to administrators. Email addresses and other personal information are never sold to third parties. 

Third-Party Sharing: Author metadata is shared with third-party databases to establish indexing for the preprint system. Other search engines may directly index the content of manuscripts from the platform's published content. 

III. Accessing and Deleting Personal Information

Users can view and edit their personal information at any time by logging into the preprint system's submission platform and accessing the "Personal Center." Users may also contact us to request the deletion of any data they have provided from our servers and network.
